BOOK VS. LES MIS

The experience reading the book was interesting, and I didn't think I would read a book like Les Mis. it had so many interesting details about it and everything was amazing. I have not read a book like that in a while. The difference between the book and movie is the detail, since I got interested in the details even though some details were just simple it lead to something bigger. In the movie it had a few details that were the same from the book but it is still am amazing movie. When I read a book I try to visualize it and it was nothing compared to what I thought would happen, it was way better; but less details. Still both are amazing.

BOOK VS. LES MIS MOVIE 5/29

The difference between the book and the movie is the details, dialogue, and music. In the movie the characters are singing their parts instead of saying the actual words from the book but it is a movie so if it were exactly like the book it would be a 5-6 hours movie. Obviously the book does not have music in it but it would be the same if the narrator read the book like it was meant to be read. If it is laughing or crying etc. The details are so different, the book has to have more details than a movie because you can take your time reading the book and knowing all the details. Like I said it would take up to 5 - 6 hours if both had the same details. I think the director only puts what is necessary for the person who watches the movie to know and not add much of the details that is not really necessary. Both the book and movie are really interesting.

MY BEST WRITING

I have a writers conference coming up with Dr. Preston, and I am excited to go over "writing about life and death" and "those who do not seek do not see ". I chose these two pieces because I have had an opinion on these post. There have been other post but these I had some big opinions and questions about it. I understood the post well that I could go on and wonder what will happen. For example, in "those who do not seek, do not see.", there are so many people who do not help those people in need, how do they expect the w

The learning modality that is most effectice is visual & kinesthetic for the topic. For auditory i will try to speak loud and clear. will make a slideshow for the visual and as a kinesthetic for my topic I will make some volunteers try to make them do some thinking and participate in some activites that gets their mood to change. And ask about what they feel and how their mood changes.

ESAY DU JEAN VALJEAN

In the book Les Miserable, Jean Valjean began his journey viewed as a criminal. He wanted his sister and her children to eat but went to prison for years and they forget about him. Later, in the book the author talks about his journey after prison.   Jean Valjean is a dynamic character because throughout meeting people like the bishop he realized he had no motive to be the same person he was before. In the book eh has a big impact on him that truly changes him. All Jean Valjean wanted was to be a changed man and not a “criminal” hat everyone thought; so, he did. People thought that since he made a mistake and become a criminal, that he would be that way all his life. Jean Valjean had made so many generous deeds and asked for nothing in return, they people wanted to make him mayor. It all came to him having to be the mayor and going around giving money to those in need, and his only reason for all he did was because of the bishop. The bishop did not question him when he arrived at

IGNITE TALK!!

My Big Question is how do emotions work in the brain? Many people go through rough times or good times and it's an interesting thing to want to know what kind of emotions go through the brain and how they work. I have researched online about the brain and the emotions we feel throughout the day we have or situations were in. Our emotions enable us to react to situations we are in. A connection I found was that Jean Valjean arrived at the church and all he wanted was for cosette to be safe, well for every parent or any person would want to keep loved ones safe so if you feel fear your heart starts racing and would do anything to keep them safe. It made me wonder how it works. What I plan on doing next would be to research more about the brain because it can be the brain or body that recognizes emotions. One thing I learned is that one of the key areas that the brain deals with to recognize, showing, and control of the body's reactions to emotions is known as the limbic syste

WEEKEND GOALS

What I will do this weekend to show what I have learned so far is to put more writing in each blog post or make a post about a summary of the book; that I have understood so far.
